Statement of Faith

The Bible

The inspired, infallible, authoritative source of Christian belief and teaching.

Mark 13:31
John 8:31-32; 20:31
Acts 20:32
1 Thessalonians 2:13
2 Timothy 3:15-17
2 Peter 1:21

Jesus is the ONLY WAY to Salvation

We believe that the only way a person can come to salvation is through Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God who came to earth, lived, taught, was crucified, and rose from the dead on the third day to make propitiation for our sins.

Baptism

Baptism in water is a sacrament and ordained by God for every born-again believer. It is a physical representation of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward change.

God the Father

We believe God the Father is infinite, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. We believe that He orders and disposes all things according to His own purpose and grace. He is sovereign in creation, providence, and redemption. In His sovereignty, He is neither author nor approver of sin, nor does He waive the accountability of His creatures, but graciously forbears.

Revelation 1:6; 4:11

Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in His death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, ongoing intercession for His people, and His visible return to earth one day. We believe that on the basis of the the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, every genuine believer is freed from the punishment, the penalty, the power, and one day the very presence of sin; and that he/she is declared righteous (justification), given eternal life, and adopted into the family of God.

Isaiah 9:6-7
Micah 5:2
Matthew 1:18-25; 20:28
Luke 1:26-38
John 1:1, 14; 5:23; 10:30; 14:9; 14:9-10; 20:28; 20:30-31

1 Timothy 3:16
Hebrews 1:8; 7:25; 9:28
1 Peter 2:21-23; 2:24; 3:18
2 Peter 1:1

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells those who receive Christ and empowers believers to live righteous and holy lives. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit along with its evidences, and the Gifts of the Spirit are available to believers today

Matthew 3:11
John 14; 16
Acts 2:4
1 Corinthians 12-14

One Holy God - Trinity

God exists as three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—yet is one God. Each person is distinct but inseparable and shares the same divine essence.

Matthew 28:19
Luke 3:22
John 1:1-4; 14:16-17

Salvation

Salvation is a gift of God.  Salvation can only be received by faith in the shed blood of our Savior Jesus Christ. Salvation cannot be earned through our efforts.

Ephesians 2:8-9

Justification

Justification is the act of God by which He declares man righteous. This righteousness is apart from any virtue or work of man and involves the imputation of our sins to Christ and the imputation of Christ's righteousness to us. By this means, God is able to "be just, and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus"

Romans 3:20; 3:26; 4:6; 8:33
1 Corinthians 1:30
2 Corinthians 5:21
Ephesians 2:8-9
Colossians 2:14
1 Peter 2:24

Sanctification

We believe that every genuine believer experiences justification before God. Therefore, having been justified, we believe that in the daily life of the believer he/she is being progressively conformed to the likeness of Christ. In this respect, every saved person is involved in a daily conflict-the new creation in Christ doing battle against the flesh (indwelling sin).

Matthew 24:13
John 17:17, 19
Romans 6:1-22
2 Corinthians 3:18
1 Thessalonians 4:3-4; 5:23

Spiritual Empowerment

We are equipped to minister to one another and live spiritually fruitful lives when we receive the power of the Holy Spirit. The Supernatural miracles will follow the ministry of believers and make those gifts manifest to those who minister in His power.

Ezekiel 36:27
Acts 1:8

The Church

The Body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head, is composed of all those who, through belief in Christ, have been spiritually changed by the personal work of the Holy Spirit. Believers are called to pursue God’s mission, both collectively and individually.

It is a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all believing persons are members. We believe in the local church, consisting of a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible profession of faith, and associated for worship, ministry and fellowship. We believe that the worship of God will lead the members of the local church to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world.

Acts 1:8; 2:42
Ephesians 2:19-22; 5:19-21
Hebrews 10:23-25

We believe that the establishment and continuity of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures and believers are directed to associate themselves together in local assemblies.

Acts 13:1-3; 14:23, 27; 20:17, 28
Romans 16:1-5, 16
1 Corinthians 11:18-20
Galatians 1:2
Philippians 1:1
1 Thessalonians 1:1
Hebrews 10:25

We believe that the one supreme authority for the church is Christ and that church leadership, gifts, order, discipline, and worship are all appointed through His sovereignty as found in the Scriptures. The local congregation is to submit to the leadership of appointed Pastors, and designated leaders such as Elders and Deacons

1 Timothy 3:8-13
Hebrews 13:7, 17

Leaders must meet biblical qualifications

God wants you free because He loves you. Deliverance ministry is a display of the supernatural love of Almighty God and a powerful tool in the church's belt to help set the captives free.

Marriage

Christian Conduct

Supernatural Healing

Marriage is a covenant relationship between one man and one woman as defined in the Bible. Marital conduct, including sexual relations and living together as a couple are to be confined within this covenant relationship.

Christian Conduct

Christian Conduct

Christian Conduct

We believe that a Christian should strive to live for the glory of God and the well being of his fellow men; that their conduct should be blameless before the world; that they should be a faithful steward of their possessions; and that they should seek to realize for themselves and others the full stature of maturity in Christ.
